AiN & Wesco List Maintenance: Requesting Additions and Removals, Entered & Exited Dealers

Purpose: Request Additions or Removals of Contacts from the AiN or Wesco Contact Lists. This will also review the Process for New or Existed AiN Dealer Updates

The lists were Updated September 2025 and will be maintained only through this request process

 

No Direct Editing or Sharing of the Monthly Sheet is Needed Moving Forward

🌀Request Process 

All requests—whether to add or remove a contact—must be sent via email to the CRM Specialist and include the following required information:

💠 Wesco & AiN Additions or Removals from Lists:

  • Removal or Addition?
  • Wesco or AiN?
  • Contact Info to Include:
    • First Name (Last if Known)
    • Email Address
    • Link to the Record if it's existing and just needs to be Updated (non-customer)

List Additions or Removals for AIN: Use this process if not already on the list or they explicitly ask not to receive communication. Follow the steps below if the request is being made due to entering or exiting the buying group

💠 AiN Dealers Entered and/or Exited this Month: 

Please Note: You can put each monthly request in one email!
  • Entered or Exited?
  • Please Ensure you are not making a request for accounts in other reps names
  • Company Info:
    • Company Name (Full Name, Proper Spelling, dba if applicable)
    • City, State, Zip
    • Company Phone Number
    • Link to the Record if it's existing and just needs to be updated with AIN Info
  • Contact Info: *On the Monthly Roster, go to the Primary Contacts Tab for this Info**
    • First Name (Last if Known)
    • Job Title
    • Email Address
    • Phone Number
    • Street Address

📎 Accessing the Lists

Business Development may review the two lists here:

  • 🔗 AiN Contacts List 
    • Based on AiN being the Buying Group and Ian being the Company Owner
    • This is an Active List, when a contact is labeled with the AIN Buying Group they will automatically be added to this list
  • 🔗 Wesco Contacts List
    • This list is filtered on any of the BD Manager's Contacts with a domain of;
      • Wescodist.com
      • Wesco.com
      • Anixter.com
      • Anixter.Wescodist.com

🧠 Important Guidelines & Edge Cases

  • This is specifically for AiN and Wesco Accounts
  • If the record is tagged with another Buying Group or another Rep is reaching out:
    → You must contact Sales Ops for clarification.
  • If it’s a customer:
    → They stay assigned to the current rep.
  • Win Back Customer Accounts:
    → Contact Sales Ops to request ownership update
