Contact No Longer Employed, Remove Association
Goal: To ensure clean data by properly updating and removing values, updating subscriptions, and removing associations when a contact is no longer employed at the Customer or Lead's Company
Manual Steps by Sales Team
- Go to the Contact Record in HubSpot
- On the left-hand column, find the property: "No Longer Employed?"
- Set the Value to Yes
Automatic Process via Workflow
- When the "No Longer Employed?" Property is updated to Yes a workflow will trigger
- A Task is Sent to the CRM Specialist to remove the association to the company and Opt the Contact out of Emails

The workflow will update the following property values:
- Contact Owner
- Secondary Contact Owner
- Sales Executive
- Regional Sales Executive
- Sales Development Representative
- Sales Admin
- Primary Contact
- Buying Group
- Address (Street, City, State)
- Partner (Rep Firm)
- Job Title will be updated to "No Longer Employed"
- NetSuite Category
- Set Contact as a Non-Marketing Contact
- Removes Price Sheet Content Membership
Please Note:
If the Contact is the Main Email (POC) on the Account in NetSuite, the request will additionally need to be sent from the updated POC or Owner to Sales.Ops@icrealtime.com
The CRM Specialist will let you know if this step needs to be taken.
Association:
The Association will be removed
The contact will still exist in HubSpot but the Contact will no longer be Associated and will be opted out of emailing so they no longer receive Marketing Information
