What are the differences between the two home screen menu views?
Compact Menu: The default hamburger menu displays a compact list of device names, which is useful if you manage many devices.
Thumbnail View: Tapping the hamburger menu switches to a thumbnail view, which displays a preview image of the first four cameras on each recorder. You can slide through your recorders to see these thumbnails.
How can I view multiple cameras at once in Live View?
You can stream the first four cameras of a recorder in a quad view by tapping the Play icon. To view more simultaneously, tap the 4, 9, or 16 grid options, located below the videos.
How do I focus on a single camera when using a multi-camera grid?
You can double-tap any camera image on the screen to view it in full-screen mode. Double-tapping the image again returns you to the grid view.
Can I listen to audio from multiple cameras at the same time?
No. If a camera supports audio, you can hear its live feed by tapping the speaker icon, but you can only listen to one channel at a time.
How does the two-way talk feature work?
For cameras equipped with two-way audio, selecting "talk with channel" allows you to speak directly through the camera itself. Selecting "device talk" routes the audio through the NVR, which requires a powered speaker and microphone connected to the recorder to act as an intercom.
How do I save manual recordings and snapshots to my phone?
Manual Recordings: Tapping the Manual Recording icon records the live feed directly to your phone. Tapping it again stops and saves the video. You must grant the app full access to your photos to save it directly to your phone's photo album.
Snapshots: Tapping the snapshot icon saves an image to your IC View Pro images. To get it into your phone's built-in photo album, you must manually export it from the app's image library.
How do the PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) controls function?
Tapping the joystick icon opens a manual interface to move a true PTZ camera. You can use the Plus (+)/Minus (-) buttons to zoom or the Iris button to adjust the lighting. If the camera has preset locations saved, you can enter the preset number to automatically move the camera to that specific spot.
Note: If your camera only has powered zoom (and not full pan-tilt capabilities), you can still use the PTZ menu's Plus and Minus buttons to adjust the zoom.
What is "fisheye dewarp" and how do I use it?
This feature is exclusive to 360-degree fisheye cameras. Because these cameras record a distorted circular image, you can select "Correction Mode" to split the view, showing the full fisheye view alongside a quadrant where you can drag your finger to virtually pan and tilt. This works in both Live View and Playback modes.
Can I view multiple cameras at once during playback?
No. While Live View supports up to 16 simultaneous cameras, Playback mode restricts you to viewing only one camera at a time.
How do I check system alerts and AI-triggered events?
Tap "Device Alerts" at the bottom of the screen and select the desired date. The app will populate a list of thumbnail images for events triggered by AI features like intrusion zones or tripwires. Tapping an individual alert allows you to watch the recorded video event.
